Unionfab Shipping Policy

Overview

Unionfab ships orders worldwide through international logistics partners. Shipping arrangements depend on the destination, package size, package weight, selected shipping method, and carrier availability.

Shipping arrangements and transit times are separate from the production lead time required to manufacture your parts.

Shipping Methods

Unionfab works with major international carriers such as DHL Express, FedEx, and UPS to support worldwide delivery.

For help comparing carrier options, see DHL, FedEx, or UPS? How to Choose the Right Carrier? (2026).

Carrier recommendations in that article are general guidance only. The carrier, service level, and final shipping cost for an individual order depend on the confirmed quote and actual availability.

Available shipping options may vary depending on the destination, package dimensions, package weight, and carrier service coverage. If supported for your order, you may be able to select your preferred shipping method during checkout or order confirmation.

Unionfab may recommend or assign a carrier and service based on the destination, package characteristics, carrier availability, and the shipping option included in the quote. Customer preferences are subject to confirmation and availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed by Unionfab.

If you would like to use a different shipping method or your own carrier account, please contact Unionfab before placing the order. We will review whether the requested shipping arrangement can be supported for your shipment.

Shipping Costs

Shipping fees are determined by third-party logistics providers. Final shipping costs may vary depending on the destination country or region, package dimensions, package weight, shipping method, declared value, and carrier pricing.

Shipping charges are not part of the manufacturing cost unless they are clearly included in the order quote. Any shipping amount shown before dispatch is an estimate unless the quote states otherwise.

Unless the quote expressly states that they are included, shipping charges may not include import duties, taxes, customs brokerage fees, or other destination-country charges. Responsibility for these charges depends on the quoted shipping terms and the destination.

Transit Time

Transit time depends on the selected carrier service, destination, carrier transfer schedule, and local delivery conditions.

For some international shipments, typical transit time may range from approximately 3 to 9 days after dispatch. Certain eligible express routes may arrive in approximately 2 to 3 business days, depending on the selected carrier service and destination.

These transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery time may be affected by carrier transfer schedules, customs processing, weather, holidays, strikes, local transportation conditions, remote delivery locations, or other factors outside Unionfab's control.

Production Lead Time vs. Shipping Time

Production lead time and shipping time are different.

Production lead time covers manufacturing, post-processing, inspection, and packing. Shipping time begins only after the order has been completed and handed over to the carrier.

Production lead time varies depending on the manufacturing process, material, quantity, finishing requirements, and any inspection or documentation requirements associated with the order.

Tracking

Tracking information will be provided after shipment where available.

Customers can use the tracking number to follow shipment status through the carrier's website or tracking system. If tracking information does not update for an extended period, please contact Unionfab for assistance.

Packaging

Unionfab inspects and packs orders before shipment. Packaging may vary depending on part size, material, fragility, surface finish, quantity, shipping method, and carrier requirements. For fragile parts, Unionfab may use protective materials such as custom foam or reinforced boxes where appropriate.

If your order includes fragile, high-value, cosmetic, or assembly-critical parts, please let Unionfab know before production so that any special packaging requirements can be reviewed in advance.

Delivery Inspection

Please inspect the package upon delivery whenever possible. Check for:

  • Outer packaging condition

  • Visible shipping damage

  • Packaging issues that may affect the parts inside

If the parcel is visibly damaged, please keep the packaging materials and take photos before opening or discarding the package. Contact Unionfab promptly if the parts or packaging appear damaged so that we can help review the shipment with the carrier.
